I just upgraded to IDVD08 and now the program doesnt start.

The Situation: Idvd8 was installed on Mac OS 10.4.x. Now when the program runs the startup screen appears but then wont load the program.

The problem is: IDVD 08 doesn’t like the old themes installed in your library, specifically from files named IDVD1,IDVD2 and IDVD4.

To fix this: First, delete the IDVD1,IDVD2 and IDVD4 themes in your system library folder; then delete the application support folder in your user directory.

Here’s How: One way to go to the System library is on the Apple menu by choosing:

Go>Go to Folder> /Library/Application Support/iDVD/Themes

Now lets delete the Installed themes by going to:
Go>Go to Folder> username/library/application support/idvd

Relaunch IDVD08 and it should work!
